Academic Courses
If you want to gain entrance to an English speaking University, find a job in an English speaking country or just improve your career prospects, you will need an international exam certificate. At Skylark, we can prepare you for Cambridge exams FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS and also TOEFL. We have a 98 percent pass rate, and many of our students achieved grades much higher than they needed.
Depending on your initial level of English, we usually recommend at least 6 to 8 weeks of study prior to sitting for an exam. Ideally, you will have 12 weeks to prepare. The course of study we most recommend is GESI plus 2 hours private exam tuition a day. The morning group class will ensure that your level is where it needs to be in order to sit for your exam, and during your private lessons, you will be given exam skills, practice and strategies. We will also make sure that you attempt as many past exam papers as possible, as well as put you through a mock-exam one week prior to your actual exam.
Our teachers and staff will guide you every step of the way, from your arrival up until your exam; and after that, we can help you with your application for a job or university.
Lessons are 60 minutes each and may be taken at any time during school hours. We recommend that they are taken in conjunction with a GESI course.
