Course Combination
We now offer (on request) a number of Course Combinations which will enable you to make the most of your stay here in Malta. You can choose any of the options below, or even suggest your own, and we will design the best course for you to learn English AND enjoy your hobby!
English + Golf
This course combines General or Business English and golfing at the Royal Malta Golf Club’s 18-hole golf course. The RMGC boasts well over 100 years of golfing history and is open throughout summer and winter thanks to Malta's mild Mediterranean climate. The golf club is only a 15-minute drive from the school.
Assessment
On your first day at school, our Director of Studies will give you a written placement test and an oral interview to ensure that we place you in the best class for your level. Once your level improves sufficiently your teachers and the Director of Studies will discuss moving you up to a higher level. However if at any point during your course you feel that you would like to move up or down a level, you are free to discuss this matter with our staff.
Levels
Our courses are offered at these levels: Beginner, Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. Courses are available at all levels.
Certificate
At the end of your course you will be given a Skylark certificate and a Student Report filled out and signed by your teacher.
Refunds
No refunds will be given once the student has started a course; although credit for future courses may be offered at the discretion of the school.
Course Duration
All times as indicated are subject to change.
All class lessons are 45 minutes each.
Private/Semi-Individual lessons are 60 minutes each.
Skylark is not open on public holidays; however, lessons missed on these particular days are duly made up for on other days.
