Business Courses

Our Business Centre is located a one-minute walk away from the main school building – in a luxury penthouse suite!
Skylark Business English Courses have been designed to meet the specific needs and requirements of executives and business professionals. Our courses are ideal for professionals who need to improve their English skills for business and social purposes; while also enjoying a short stay on the island of Malta.
Our courses are highly intensive and practical and are guaranteed to yield huge benefits for our students and their organisation. The content of each course is tailored to meet the precise and detailed needs associated with the student’s own line of work.
Business Individual
As our business courses are created individually for each student, you can choose the hours that suit you most. You may opt for:
- A 6 hour a day Private Business Course. This runs from 9 am till 5pm, with breaks for tea/coffee and lunch. You will be accompanied by your tutor all day.
- 3 hours Group Tuition (see below) and 3 hours Private Tuition. This runs from 9 am till 5pm, with breaks for tea/coffee and lunch. You will be accompanied by your tutor all day.
- Any number of private hours that you wish, which may be taken within school hours.
Assessment
On your first day at school, our Director of Studies will give you a written placement test and an oral interview to ensure that we place you in the best class for your level. Once your level improves sufficiently your teachers and the Director of Studies will discuss moving you up to a higher level. However if at any point during your course you feel that you would like to move up or down a level, you are free to discuss this matter with our staff.
Levels
Our courses are offered at these levels: Beginner, Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. Courses are available at all levels.
For Business English/ESP courses, a Lower-Intermediate level is required.
Certificate
At the end of your course you will be given a Skylark certificate and a Student Report filled out and signed by your teacher.
Refunds
No refunds will be given once the student has started a course; although credit for future courses may be offered at the discretion of the school.
Skylark is not open on public holidays; however, lessons missed on these particular days are duly made up for on other days.
