Accommodation
Skylark offers a wide selection of good quality accommodations for you to choose from. All properties are within walking distance of the school, or at most, one bus ride away. Depending on your preference and requirements, you may choose the cultural experience of living with an English-speaking host-family, mingling with different nationalities in a shared apartment, or maybe you prefer the independence of a hotel or guesthouse. We can help you decide which best suits your needs, and then recommend a conveniently located accommodation within your budget range.
Host Family
Our friendly, hospitable families are carefully selected to guarantee the comforts of home-away-from-home. This option gives you more opportunities to speak English and to get to know the Maltese way of life. We regularly monitor our Host Families to ensure a comfortable and friendly environment.The majority of our Host Families are located within a 5 to 10 minute walk from Skylark School.
You can choose to book Bed & Breakfast, Half Board or Full Board basis, and either a single or a shared room. Breakfast and Dinner are taken with the Host Family and the midday meal is a packed lunch and consists of sandwiches, mineral water and fruit.
Bed linen is provided by your Host Family and is laundered every week; however, we kindly request that you provide your own towels.
Your Host Family will help out with washing your laundry but you will also have occasional access to a washing machine.
Staying with a Host Family enables you to intensify your English Experience and you can practice at home what you have learnt at school.
